We are able to make a small disc that rotate on a track with almost no resistance while suspended in air and locked into place. We can potential move big objects easily if we can keep the disc super cooled. We can potentially create cars that move on tracks super easily and do cool neat looking tricks with them. We can make sidewalks and shoes with these tracks and small disc and allows us to travel with easily. I think it would be cool to be able to do something likes this to transport things across planets some how.
This episode change one thing that was given as true and morphed it. They gave a kid powers that no else has. It looked at if a kid has extraordinary power that no one else could have have and didn't understand that things were wrong and you should not abuse your powers how could you control him. It had high adventure whenever the kid did a horrible thing but everyone else had to think good thoughts so the same would not happen to him. It a scary idea to think if just one human being had power to make think appear and disappear how could anyone stop them. It would just take one person who was greedy and only care about them selves.
We can use sulfuric acid to bond with the parts of the body that normal would need oxygen to bond with. This would low our body demands for things that are require to survive and appear died. This has a lot of possible uses to help save lives to help them get the care they need. This also could be used to suspend a human to live for a longer time in order to travel a deeper amount in space or possible put forward into the future.
To serve man it starts out where all promise to the human races dreams and solve all our problem. It has many different elements of science fiction, They had intellectual excitement, high adventure, ambiguous, and suspension of disbelief. It introduces aliens with advance technology which is intellectual excitement and suspension of disbelief. It high adventure was if the aliens were telling the truth or not. It had an ambiguous where at the end you find out that the alien were lying and it everything is not perfect.
The idea of being able to control our evolution and became something be control is a very interesting and cool idea. But it a little scary to think we could possible be ranking and saying these genes are not worthy and should not be used. We would start like a rating system of what genes shouldn't and should be progarm into our D.N.A. and we would stop seeing diversify of our new human race and all become the same humans essentially.
I think usually in science fiction there is this fear that alien would be more advanced them us or equal. But in 'The Invaders" human are the superior and what seems to be the aliens end up actually being humans. This has an ambiguous ending where everything you think you know is flipped right at the end of it. It a very common thing to for science fiction stories to have an ending like that.
