<![CDATA[Week 21: I Believe in ]]>Fri, 05 Feb 2016 13:06:04 GMThttp://jordancreggeraplitblog.weebly.com/reflective-learning-blog1/week-21-i-believe-inWe did a lot of work on our I believe papers. I learned that just because a paper is short does not make it any easier to write. I have learned that personal experience and stories can be very nerve wrecking to write and tell. There a lot of doubt when writing our own personal story. I having been making progress on writing my essay and been looking deeper into what I believe and been looking at different key moments in my life.

I have been watching other students project to get idea what they have done in the past to give me ideas to do for mine. I was thinking about potential do it on sonder. Sonder is this idea that everyone has their own life which they have there own stories and we are actors in each person life we come pass. I believe we can be support actors in each others movies and should be kind and nice in the little time we are in each other lives.

I looked at the dagger scene where macbeth see a dagger floating in front of him. This seem to be a vital point to look at because it the first time we seen Macbeth brain starting to failure him and seems to diseased by something. His Psychological level is not fully health. We also looked at the meal scene where he is starting to see ghost. He see it from his guility of all the death he has caused. Within in Macbeth we have been looking at analytical/psychological critical theory. There are a few scenes we looked recognized within our groups as being big and important. We recognize that when he seeing the daggers in the thin air before killing the king was clearly his psychology level starting to change. We looked at the scene where he was have a meal with all his lords and he started to see things that where not there. He say the ghost of people he order to have died. He starts to go into a fit clearly showing he he not very psychology stable. The blood he been spilling is messing with psychology and hurting him.

<![CDATA[Week 13: New Plate]]>Fri, 04 Dec 2015 12:55:52 GMThttp://jordancreggeraplitblog.weebly.com/reflective-learning-blog1/week-13-new-plateThis week marks the start of a new trimester and a chance to work hard to get the grade I want this trimester. We started with a AP Literature test multiple choice test. It gave us experience with what it will be like on the AP Test at the end of the year. We were shown the scoring system on the AP Test. We need either strong scoring on either the essays or the multiple choice question to do well on the AP Test. We should shot for a minimum scoring of around 5 on each essay in order to gives us breathing room on the multiple choice test part of it. We start picking subject for a project we will be working on for a presentation. We need 2 books which I have "The Loser" and "The Tin Drum" and my subject is how music shapes us and it role it society.

<![CDATA[Week 11: Experts in Tragedy]]>Fri, 20 Nov 2015 13:14:08 GMThttp://jordancreggeraplitblog.weebly.com/reflective-learning-blog1/week-11-experts-in-tragedyThis week we finished up reading and viewing our tragedy materials. We have well defined and strengthen our definitions of tragedy. We finished up reading Antigone. From Antigone I took away that one event tends to quickly spiral out of control getting bigger and bigger and has consequences the person who starts the events didn't mean to have happen. It usually effect him/her very poorly and hurt him alot in the long run and ends up with regrets of what he did. We discussed really life tragedies in class with the recent paris attacks. I took away when a massive tragedy strikes the us we tend to bond together as nations united in order to support each other. We become close and band together to try prevent this from happening again. We usually never do anything to prevent tragedy from happening until it already happens. We won't put in any effort until it strikes. We read the before the law. From what I took away is when we become stubborn in usually our downfall. When someone believes in what is their is fact and close mind about everything else it can end them. The main character was so set our his ideology of what right and wrong that he was willing to wait on nothing less then what he thought was right.

We learned where they came from. We read some famous tragedy writer definition of Tragedy. Tragedy is when a character either goes from a very positive place in his life to a very negative place without any influence on it directly. It can also be vice versus but the in more come to start in a positive place to a very negative place. We started reading the story Oedipus. It an example of the a tragedy. I would define tragedy as when a character goes from a positive state to a negative state or switch around without the character intentional doing so or a power greater them him.

<![CDATA[Week 8: Starting Tragedy]]>Fri, 30 Oct 2015 12:14:30 GMThttp://jordancreggeraplitblog.weebly.com/reflective-learning-blog1/week-8-starting-tragedyThis week we starting reading and watch material about tragedy. We started this with thinking about our own definition of tragedy. I would of define tragedy is when someone innocent and pure have a sweet little life then something happens uncontrollable happens to them and bring their life in a horrible place. With our research we have learned that tragedy is not always good going to bad. In some cases it can switch around where the character in a tough position at the start then something happens and it becomes good. We found out that originally Tragedies were performed to please the gods back in greek times.
